As a former Head of Automation at Cubicure GmbH, I have overseen the development of a start-up in the field of additive manufacturing into a globally renowned company, specializing in mechanical engineering and process technology. With my expertise in system architectures, I am now focused on enhancing the scalability of our analysis systems, whether it be for minor optimization issues or complex societal models. With the consistent digitization of data, there are entirely new opportunities for predicting events based on data analysis.
Prof. Dr. Radu Grosu

Radu Grosu is a full Professor, the Head of the Cyber-Physical-Systems Division, and the former Head of the Computer-Engineering Institute, at the Faculty of Informatics, TU Wien, Austria. Radu Grosu is also a Research Professor at the Department of Computer Science, of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, USA.
The research interests of Radu Grosu include the modeling, the analysis and the control of cyber-physical systems and of biological systems. The applications focus of Radu Grosu includes smart-mobility, Industry 4.0, smart-buildings, smart-agriculture, smart-health-care, smart-cities, IoT, cardiac and neural networks, and genetic regulatory networks.
Radu Grosu is the recipient of the National Science Foundation Career Award, the State University of New York Research Foundation Promising Inventor Award, the Association for Computing Machinery Service Award, and is an elected member of the International Federation for Information Processing, Working Group 2.2. In 2024 Radu Grosu received the honorary doctorate of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

As a mathematician with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Statistics and Business Mathematics from the Vienna University of Technology, I successfully completed my doctoral studies in 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Radu Grosu in the Cyber-Physical Systems Group (Doctoral College Logical Methods in Computer Science). My research focuses on the verification and proper functioning of artificial intelligence algorithms, specifically Neural Networks. My passion is to combine my mathematical skills with artificial intelligence to ensure the reliability of AI systems.
As a co-founder of Absolut Ticket GmbH, a ticketing system for event administration and event marketing with artificial intelligence, I support cultural institutions, musicians, and organizers with the challenges of event planning, marketing, and currently also contact tracing.

Previous educational background in Business Administration and International Management, working experience in IT Management, Marketing, Business Development, Event and Team Coordination gave me the relevant knowledge and skills set that could be implemented in tech and data-driven corporate environment.

After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Medical Informatics, I designed a customized Master’s degree program that combined Neuroscience and Machine Learning, earning me the academic degree of Diplom-Ingenieur. Currently, as part of my doctoral studies, I am researching biologically plausible and explainable alternatives to state-of-the-art methods of time series modeling and control based on Neural Networks. At DataVorsprung, I have the opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge to practical problem-solving and work on solutions for the analysis of time series data.

Ramin is a postdoctoral researcher at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States. He provides guidance to our team in developing advanced and trustworthy machine learning technologies at various scales.
As an expert in explainable artificial intelligence, Ramin expands our portfolio of algorithms through innovative scientific work.

Following the completion of my Bachelor’s degree in Technical Mathematics at the Vienna University of Technology, I opted to pursue a Master’s degree in AI Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. While the realm of Artificial Intelligence captivates me, my primary interest, owing to my mathematical background, is particularly in its mathematical aspects. At DatenVorsprung, I am afforded the opportunity to amalgamate and further develop my theoretical knowledge in both domains, whilst concurrently applying it in a practical context.

My focus lies in working with versatile tech stacks and implementing interdisciplinary projects, as they provide me with new approaches and perspectives. As a Fullstack Developer, I have extensive experience in developing and integrating software solutions in the web field, as well as processing and analyzing data. During my Master’s studies in Interactive Technologies, I conducted research on time-series-based financial models. In my free time, I am interested in embedded software, alternative user interfaces, and the development of VR/AR applications.
